This is a string of lemons and hot peppers photographed in an Indian restaurant on the east end of South Street in Philadelphia. The first photo shows the amulet apparently freshly hung, and the second photo shows the same amulet some months later. I have spotted similar amulets in other Indian establishments, which are recorded in the next few entries.
